The Centennial Apaches basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Compton Early College Rising Phoenix to 54 in the Apaches non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Apaches now possess a 1-15 record. They play next when they travel to Hawthorne for a Ocean game on Wednesday, January 22. Centennial will confront a Cougars team coming off a 100-12 league loss to Inglewood (Inglewood, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Compton Early College falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Rising phoenix travel to Ambassador (Torrance, CA) to confront the Lions in a Mulholland game on Thursday, January 16. The Lions go into the game with a record of 11-2.
