California High School Basketball - Compton Early College nips Centennial

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Compton Early College Rising Phoenix basketball team scored a close 52-48 triumph over the Centennial Apaches.
The Rising Phoenix (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ambassador (Torrance, CA). The Lions go into the Mulholland contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Ambassador nipped Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA), 90-74, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Apaches battle the Sotomayor Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 5. Centennial will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 81-46 non-league loss to St. Bonaventure (Ventura, CA).
