Next, the Lions encounter the Natomas Nighthawks (Sacramento, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 18. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 16-2 season record. The Nighthawks come into the test with a 11-5 record after their 63-53 non-league win over Grant (Sacramento, CA).

The Wolverines (3-14) will now prepare for their test against Pittsburg (Pittsburg, CA). The Pirates come into the Bay Valley test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Pittsburg bounced Heritage (Brentwood, CA), 59-56, in a league test.
