The Dons (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA). The Plainsmen come into the non-league challenge with a 3-10 record.

In their next game, the Wildcats encounter the Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Riceville will attempt to improve on its 5-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-10 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA).
