The Don Bosco Dons basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Riceville Wildcats to 40 in the Dons league triumph on Friday.

The Dons now have a 16-7 record. They play next when they travel to Collins-Maxwell for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Don Bosco will confront a team coming off a 73-45 league loss to Baxter (Baxter, IA). The record now stands at 16-3.

With the loss, Riceville falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to BCLUW (Conrad, IA) to confront the Comets in a Iowa Star game on Saturday, February 8. The Comets go into the game with a record of 2-17. BCLUW lost 63-47 in their recent league game against North Tama (Traer, IA)
