Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Echols County Wildcats (Statenville, GA), 60-42 in a league match.

With the victory, Lanier County upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Clinch County (Homerville, GA) to face the Panthers in a A D2 Region 2 match on Friday, January 17. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 11-1. Clinch County won 75-63 in their recent league match against Turner County (Ashburn, GA)

The Wildcats now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Community Christian Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16.
