In Tuesday's league contest, the host Grandview Zebras basketball team scored a big 73-38 win over the Rice Bulldogs.

The Zebras (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 13-7 record. In their last contest, Palmer smashed Keene (Keene, TX), 64-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Maypearl Panthers (Maypearl, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 contest, on Friday, January 17. Rice will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 4-22 record after their 71-45 league loss to Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX).
