The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Grandview Zebras (Grandview, TX) and the host Rice Bulldogs (Rice, TX), observed Grandview's basketball team edge Rice by a score of 66-61.

The Zebras (13-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 3A Region III District 18 challenge with a 19-7 record. In their last challenge, Palmer edged Keene (Keene, TX), 49-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Maypearl Panthers (Maypearl, TX) in a 3A Region III District 18 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Rice will attempt to improve on its 6-18 season record.
