The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Littlefield Wildcats (Littlefield, TX) and the visiting Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX), observed Littlefield's basketball team overcome Idalou by a margin of 77-66.

The Wildcats (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Friona (Friona, TX). The Chieftans come into the 3A Region I District 2 challenge with a 4-17 record. In their last challenge, Friona dropped by Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX), 62-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Muleshoe Mules (Muleshoe, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Idalou will attempt to better on its 14-10 season record. The Mules come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 84-23 league loss to Shallowater (Shallowater, TX).
