The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA) and the visiting South Cameron Tarpons (Creole, LA), observed Johnson Bayou's basketball team overwhelm South Cameron by a score of 85-27.

The Rebels (8-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Singer (Singer, LA). The Hornets come into the C District 5 challenge with a 17-11 record. In their last challenge, Singer was routed by Starks (Starks, LA), 73-65, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tarpons encounter the Welsh Greyhounds (Welsh, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. South Cameron will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 76-30 non-league loss to Mamou (Mamou, LA).
