Next, the Rebels clash with the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) in a C District 5 outing, on Saturday, February 1. Johnson Bayou will attempt to upgrade on its 9-17 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 18-13 record after their 54-48 league win over Singer (Singer, LA).

The Tarpons (1-14) will now prepare for their outing against Vinton (Vinton, LA). The Lions come into the non-league outing with a 17-15 record. In their last outing, Vinton was overwhelmed by Rosepine (Rosepine, LA), 75-69, in a league outing.
