Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Sayre triumphant over North Penn-Liberty

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA) and the host North Penn-Liberty Mountie (Liberty, PA), observed Sayre's basketball team overwhelm North Penn-Liberty by a score of 75-49.

The Redskins (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Canton (Canton, PA). The Warriors come into the Northern Tier challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Canton trounced Williamson (Tioga, PA), 60-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mountie encounter the Cowanesque Valley Indians (Westfield, PA) in a Northern Tier challenge, on Thursday, January 16. North Penn-Liberty will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 76-42 league loss to North Penn-Mansfield (Mansfield, PA).
