Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Penn-Liberty defeats Sayre

The North Penn-Liberty Mountie (Liberty, PA) basketball were winner over the host Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA), 61-48 in Monday's league bout.

The Mountie now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Troy for a Northern Tier bout on Wednesday, January 29. North Penn-Liberty will play a Trojans team coming off a 77-41 league win over Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-2.

With the loss, Sayre falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Athens (Athens, PA) to play the Wildcats in a Northern Tier bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Athens won 44-35 in their recent league bout against Wyalusing Valley (Wyalusing, PA)
