The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Paducah Dragons (Paducah, TX) and the host Patton Springs Rangers (Afton, TX), observed Paducah's basketball team overwhelm Patton Springs by a margin of 77-40.

The Dragons (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Motley County (Matador, TX). The Matadors come into the 1A Region I District 8 challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Motley County was trounced by Valley (Turkey, TX), 102-53, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Spur Bulldogs (Spur, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Patton Springs will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-13 record after their 58-40 league loss to Guthrie (Guthrie, TX).
