New Hampshire High School Basketball - Prospect Mountain holds off Winnisquam

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Prospect Mountain Timberwolves basketball team scored a close 41-39 triumph over the Winnisquam Bears.
The Timberwolves (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Gilford (Gilford, NH). The Golden Eagles go into the Division III contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Gilford nipped Hopkinton (Contoocook, NH), 50-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bears confront the White Mountains Spartans (Whitefield, NH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Winnisquam will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 67-45 non-league loss to Littleton (Littleton, NH).
