The Prospect Mountain Timberwolves basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Winnisquam Bears to 40 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Friday.

The Timberwolves now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Somersworth for a Division III game on Tuesday, January 7. Prospect Mountain will confront a Toppers team coming off a 73-18 league win over Berlin (Berlin, NH). The Toppers record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Winnisquam falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bears host Gilford (Gilford, NH) to confront the Golden Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Golden Eagles go into the game with a record of 6-1. Gilford won 71-34 in their recent league game against Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH)
