The Boyle County Rebels basketball team scored 70 points and limited the visiting Garrard County Golden Lions to 47 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now possess a 8-4 record. They play next when they host Danville for a District 45 game on Friday, January 17. Boyle County will play a Admirals team coming off a 66-61 league loss to Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Admirals record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Garrard County falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Golden lions host Berea (Berea, KY) to play the Pirates in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 6-8.
