The Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) basketball edged the host Garrard County Golden Lions (Lancaster, KY), 59-52 in Friday's league bout.

The Rebels now possess a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Danville Christian Academy for a District 45 bout on Tuesday, February 11. Boyle County will play a Warriors team coming off a 53-45 non-league loss to Cooper (Union, KY). The Warriors record now stands at 18-7.

With the loss, Garrard County falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Golden lions host Lincoln County (Stanford, KY) to play the Patriots in a District 45 bout on Monday, February 10. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 10-12. Lincoln County won 66-59 in their recent league bout against Danville (Danville, KY)
