Virginia High School Basketball - Central Wise nips John Battle

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Central Wise Warriors basketball team scored a close 52-45 win over the John Battle Trojans.
The Warriors (11-1) will now prepare for their contest against Ridgeview (Clintwood, VA). The Wolfpack come into the Mountain contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Ridgeview edged Abingdon (Abingdon, VA), 64-54, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 15. John Battle will attempt to better on its 7-6 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 65-40 non-league loss to John Battle (Bristol, VA).
