The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) and the visiting Foxcroft Academy Ponies (Dover-Foxcroft, ME), observed Dexter's basketball team knock off Foxcroft Academy by a score of 41-31.

The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates come into the C North challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Piscataquis was knocked off by Central (East Corinth, ME), 62-18, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Ponies encounter the Houlton Shiretowners (Houlton, ME) in a B North challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Foxcroft Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Shiretowners come into the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 71-31 league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME).
