North Carolina High School Basketball - Harnett Central knocked off by Triton

January 14, 2025: Angier, NC 27501

In Tuesday's league test, the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), by a score of 45-29.

Next, the Hawks clash with the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) in a 3A/4A All-American test, on Friday, January 17. Triton will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Golden Bulls come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 47-45 league win over Westover (Fayetteville, NC).

The Trojans (1-12) will now prepare for their test against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Wildcats come into the non-league test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Hobbton went down by Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC), 36-12, in a league test.
