Georgia High School Basketball - Morgan County overwhelms Pike County

January 14, 2025: Zebulon, GA 30295

The Morgan County Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Pike County Pirates to 21 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now have a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Callaway for a AA Region 2 game on Friday, January 17. Morgan County will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 54-31 league win over Rutland (Macon, GA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Pike County falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Pirates host Rock Springs Christian Academy (Milner, GA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-7. Rock Springs Christian Academy lost 70-27 in their recent league game against Heritage (Newnan, GA)
