Georgia High School Basketball - Morgan County triumphant over Pike County

January 31, 2025: Madison, GA 30650

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA) and the visiting Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), observed Morgan County's basketball team overwhelm Pike County by a score of 65-26.

The Bulldogs (14-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Rutland (Macon, GA). The Hurricanes come into the AA Region 2 challenge with a 1-16 record. In their last challenge, Rutland was routed by Callaway (Hogansville, GA), 60-32, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA) in a AA Region 2 challenge, on Monday, February 3. Pike County will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 48-32 league win over Jackson (Jackson, GA).
