The Thrasher Rebels basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Tremont Eagles to 30 in the Rebels league triumph on Tuesday.

The Rebels now have a 19-1 record. They play next when they travel to Baldwyn for a 1A Region 1 game on Friday, January 17. Thrasher will confront a Bearcats team coming off a 43-36 league loss to Wheeler (Wheeler, MS). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Tremont falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region 1 game on Friday, January 17. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-6. Tupelo Christian Prep lost 70-21 in their recent league game against Biggersville (Corinth, MS)
