The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS) and the visiting Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS), observed Thrasher's basketball team overcome Tremont by a margin of 45-29.

The Rebels (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS). The Bearcats come into the 1A Region 1 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Baldwyn dropped by Wheeler (Wheeler, MS), 45-41, in a league bout.

With the loss, Tremont falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region 1 bout on Friday, December 13. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Tupelo Christian Prep lost 80-12 in their recent league bout against Biggersville (Corinth, MS)
