In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Albemarle Patriots basketball team scored a good 52-44 triumph over the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos.
The Patriots (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Monticello (Charlottesville, VA). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Monticello topped Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 72-33, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Flying Flucos confront the Waynesboro Little Giants (Waynesboro, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Fluvanna County will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Little Giants go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 49-35 non-league win over Riverheads (Staunton, VA).
