In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Albemarle Patriots basketball team scored a big 63-28 triumph over the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos.
The Patriots (16-1) will now prepare for their contest against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights go into the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Charlottesville smashed Goochland (Goochland, VA), 56-15, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Flying Flucos confront the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Fluvanna County will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record.
