The William Monroe Dragons basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host Harrisonburg Blue Streaks to 52 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Dragons now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. William Monroe will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 58-33 non-league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Harrisonburg falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Blue streaks travel to Broadway (Broadway, VA) to confront the Gobblers in a non-league game on Friday, January 17. The Gobblers go into the game with a record of 2-8. Broadway lost 55-27 in their recent non-league game against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA)
