The Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) basketball crushed the host Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), 72-33 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Albemarle for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Monticello will play a Patriots team coming off a 52-44 non-league win over Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Louisa County falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Lions host Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Chancellor won 50-35 in their recent non-league bout against Caroline (Milford, VA)
