In Tuesday's non-league test, the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA), by a score of 62-44.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 6. Monticello will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record.
The Lions (1-17) will now prepare for their test against Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, Goochland went down by Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA), 56-15, in a non-league test.
