Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Princeton Panthers (Princeton, TX) and the host Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX), saw Princeton's soccer squad hold off Plano East by a count of 2-1.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Rock Hill (Frisco, TX). The Blue Hawks enter the 6A Region 1 District 6 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Rock Hill was edged by Allen (Allen, TX), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Plano West Wolves (Plano, TX) in a 6A Region 1 District 6 battle, on Friday, January 17. Plano East will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 2-2 league McKinney Boyd (McKinney, TX).
