The Southwestern Wildcats basketball team (Hazel Green, WI), was routed 90-27 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Cuba City Cubans (Cuba City, WI)

The Cubans now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fennimore for a Southwest Wisconsin Activities battle on Thursday, January 18. Cuba City will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 49-43 non-league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, WI). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-6.

The Wildcats (1-14) will now prepare for their battle against Boscobel (Boscobel, WI). The Bulldogs come into the Southwest Wisconsin Activities battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Boscobel was routed by Kickapoo (Viola, WI), 58-47, in a non-league battle.
