The Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) basketball crushed the host A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC), 82-45 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 14-1 record. They play next when they travel to Cox Mill for a 4A Greater Metro bout on Thursday, January 16. Lake Norman will play a Chargers team coming off a 80-65 league win over A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, A.L. Brown falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Wonders host South Iredell (Statesville, NC) to play the Vikings in a 4A Greater Metro contest on Thursday, January 16. The Vikings go into the contest with a record of 4-11. South Iredell lost 73-31 in their recent league contest against Mooresville (Mooresville, NC)
