Illinois High School Basketball - Polo overwhelms Ashton-Franklin Center

January 15, 2025: Polo, IL 61064

The Polo Marcos basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders to 35 in the Marcos league triumph on Wednesday.

The Marcos now have a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Milledgeville for a Northwest Upstate Illini - South game on Friday, January 17. Polo will confront a Missiles team coming off a 64-32 non-league win over Orangeville (Orangeville, IL). The Missiles record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Ashton-Franklin Center falls to 6-14 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Orangeville (Orangeville, IL) to confront the Broncos in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Broncos go into the game with a record of 1-15. Orangeville lost 57-23 in their recent league game against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL)
