Illinois High School Basketball - Ashton-Franklin Center tipped by Polo

In Thursday's league test, the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) basketball squad got by the host Ashton-Franklin Center Raiders (Ashton, IL), by a score of 56-51.

Next, the Marcos clash with the Orangeville Broncos (Orangeville, IL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 8. Polo will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record. The Broncos come into the test with a 2-24 record after their 72-21 league loss to Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL).

The Raiders (7-20) will now prepare for their test against Hiawatha (Kirkland, IL). The Hawks come into the non-league test with a 8-14 record. In their last test, Hiawatha held off Rock County Christian (Beloit, WI), 55-48, in a non-league test.
