In Wednesday's non-league test, the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) basketball squad trounced the host River View Raiders (Bradshaw, WV), by a score of 67-36.

Next, the Golden Wave encounter the Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA) in a Black Diamond test, on Friday, January 17. Grundy will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Rebels come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 51-40 league win over Council (Council, VA).

The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Mount View (Welch, WV). The Golden Knights come into the non-league test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Mount View bounced Montcalm (Montcalm, WV), 48-38, in a non-league test.
