North Carolina High School Basketball - Chase overwhelmed by Polk County

January 15, 2025: Forest City, NC 28043

The Polk County Wolverines bounced the host Chase Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 67-10 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Wolverines clash with the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 outing, on Friday, January 17. Polk County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the outing with a 4-10 record after their 42-29 league win over R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC).

The Trojans (3-11) will now prepare for their outing against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers come into the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills 7 outing with a 3-11 record. In their last outing, Patton was overwhelmed by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 42-30, in a league outing.
