In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans ice hockey team scored a close 8-1 victory over the Kent School Lions.

The Pelicans (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT). The Bearcats go into the contest with a 1-5 record.

In their next game, the Lions play the Lawrenceville School Big Red (Lawrenceville, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Kent School will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record.
