Kentucky High School Basketball - Corbin trounces Whitley County

The Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 70-24 in Monday's league test.
The Redhounds (12-5) will now prepare for their test against South Laurel (London, KY). The Cardinals go into the District 50 test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, South Laurel was trounced by Somerset (Somerset, KY), 74-49, in a non-league test.
The Colonels now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Jenkins for a non-league test on Saturday, January 21. Whitley County will encounter a Cavaliers squad coming off a 71-41 non-league loss to Harlan County (Harlan, KY). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-6.
