Texas High School Basketball - Braswell knocked off by Boyd

The Boyd Broncos basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Braswell Bengals to 40 in the Broncos league triumph on Tuesday.
The Broncos now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prosper for a 6A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 19. Boyd will meet a Eagles team coming off a 58-39 league loss to Guyer (Denton, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-10.
The Bengals (22-5) will now prepare for their contest against Allen (Allen, TX). The Eagles enter the 6A Region I District 5 contest with a 23-4 record. In their last contest, Allen ran past Rock Hill (Frisco, TX), 103-76, in a league contest.
