With the victory, Sleepy Eye upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Springfield (Springfield, MN) to play the Tigers in a A Section 2 challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 6-5. Springfield won 90-57 in their recent non-league challenge against Wabasso (Wabasso, MN)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will attempt to upgrade on its 1-12 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 79-44 league loss to B O L D (Olivia, MN).
