In Friday's league outing, the Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) basketball squad edged the host Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs (Hector, MN), by a count of 70-64.

The Indians (15-9) will now prepare for their outing against Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Jaguars go into the non-league outing with a 5-16 record. In their last outing, Renville County West was tipped by Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN), 59-58, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now hold a 3-22 record. They play next when they travel to Lester Prairie for a A Section 2 outing on Tuesday, February 20. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-51 non-league win over Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-14.
