With the victory, Monte Vista upgrades its record to 14-7 on the campaign. The Monarchs travel to Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to play the Foothillers in a Grossmont - Valley bout on Friday, January 19. The Foothillers come into the bout with a record of 5-14. Grossmont lost 57-43 in their recent league bout against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA)
