The Irrigon Knights basketball team (Irrigon, OR), was overwhelmed 58-32 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR)
The Mustangs now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stanfield for a 2A Blue Mountain battle on Friday, January 19. Heppner will confront a Tigers team coming off a 74-58 non-league win over Union (Union, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.
The Knights (1-13) will now prepare for their battle against Grant Union (John Day, OR). The Prospectors come into the 2A Blue Mountain battle with a 11-4 record.
