In Saturday's non-league outing, the Heppner Mustangs (Heppner, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), by a count of 68-43.
The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Cobras go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Central Linn smashed Coquille (Coquille, OR), 58-51, in a non-league outing.
The Knights now hold a 1-4 record. They play next when they host South Wasco County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 12. Irrigon will clash with a Redsides squad coming off a 54-40 non-league loss to Cove (Cove, OR). The Redsides record now stands at 1-3.
