Texas High School Basketball - Whitney can't hold off Keene

The Keene Chargers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Whitney Wildcats to 59 in the Chargers league victory on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host West for a 3A Region III District 17 contest on Friday, January 19. Keene will battle a Trojans team coming off a 51-37 league loss to Clifton (Clifton, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 5-13.
The Wildcats (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Grandview (Grandview, TX). The Zebras come into the 3A Region III District 17 contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Grandview edged Maypearl (Maypearl, TX), 64-58, in a league contest.
