The Utopia Buffaloes (Utopia, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Leakey Eagles (Leakey, TX), 84-48 in Tuesday's league test.

The Buffaloes (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Medina (Medina, TX). The Bobcats go into the 1A Region IV District 31 test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Medina was trounced by D'Hanis (D'Hanis, TX), 55-47, in a league test.

The Eagles now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they host Nueces Canyon for a 1A Region IV District 31 bout on Friday, January 19. Leakey will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 65-28 league loss to Knippa (Knippa, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-10.
