In Tuesday's league outing, the Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rice Bulldogs (Rice, TX), by a margin of 67-42.

The Eagles (15-6) will now prepare for their outing against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region III District 18 outing with a 15-2 record. In their last outing, Palmer smashed Eustace (Eustace, TX), 75-38, in a league outing.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they host Malakoff for a 3A Region III District 18 outing on Friday, January 19. Rice will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 47-31 league loss to Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
