Texas High School Basketball - Rice overwhelmed by Mildred

The Mildred Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the visiting Rice Bulldogs to 44 in the Eagles league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palmer for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Monday, February 12. Mildred will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-16 league win over Eustace (Eustace, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 21-3.
The Bulldogs (7-20) will now prepare for their contest against Malakoff (Malakoff, TX). The Tigers come into the 3A Region III District 18 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Malakoff was routed by Scurry-Rosser (Scurry, TX), 69-30, in a league contest.
