North Carolina High School Basketball - West Rowan topped by Northwest Cabarrus

January 16, 2024: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host West Rowan Falcons to 42 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Rowan for a 3A South Piedmont contest on Friday, January 19. Northwest Cabarrus will battle a Raiders team coming off a 78-37 league loss to Carson (China Grove, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 0-13.

The Falcons (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 3A South Piedmont contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Robinson dropped by Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 87-36, in a league contest.

The West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home conference game against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) by a score of 52-42.
